ASBESTOS REMOVAL

Asbestos removal is carried out in the safest possible manner by Civil1 Pty Ltd. We hold a current SafeWork NSW Asbestos License and all necessary permits to undertake asbestos removal works. Some examples of our services include:

Asbestos roof/wall sheeting
Asbestos in internal walls, linings & floor sheetings
Asbestos in bathroom, laundry and kitchens
Asbestos ground contamination

During the procedure, many precautions are taken to ensure the safety of all parties involved. These precautions include:

Segregation and warning signs erected to enclose the area
Air monitors installed to detect any health hazards
Spray methods are employed to suppress the potential fibres
Asbestos placed in a heavy duty bag and disposed to EPA approved tipping facility
Staff are supplied with all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)
Site specific safe work method statement and asbestos control plans are provided to all staff involved in the project
Work sites are decontaminated to ensure the potential for asbestos is minimised before leaving the site
Vehicles leaving the work site during the works are cleaned and decontaminated
Tools and equipment are decontaminated after the project is complete
Upon completion an asbestos clearance certificate is provided
